Lavender Love

Calm in a cup is a divine stress-relieving remedy. Allow this calming, mellow combination to help you brew away from the blues.

Lavender is a natural relaxant that helps to ease tension. It helps you relax and recover your energy levels by rebooting your neurological system. Sip this caffeine-free tea after dinner or right before night. It’s also a modest insomnia treatment.

Caffeine content: Low

Ingredients: Green tea with lavender flowers and a hint of mint as an infusion.

Source: Darjeeling, India is the origin of tea.

Instructions for brewing:

1 tea bag or 1 tsp per cup (150ml). Always pour hot (80°C) water over the tea leaves, not the other way around. Steep for a couple of minutes. All of our teas, whether in tea bags or loose-leaf, can be rebrewed multiple times. Simply add hot water and steep for a longer period of time than before.

Pallete: Floral, citrus, and silky flavors dominate the palate. Makes a clear, light liquor. Green tea has a natural honeydew flavor that pairs well with the lavender flower’s soft overtones. Serve with light flaky pastries, rice noodles, or lemon cake as a side dish. Without the addition of milk or sweets, this dish is best eaten simply. Make a Green Tea Sangria with it as the basis.

Advice for storage: Keep in the foil pouch in the tea tin or transfer to an airtight container and store in a cool, dark area.

Pack in small sealed packets or jars for storing in the refrigerator or freezer. To avoid condensation, allow the tea to cool to room temperature before using. After opening, each package should be used within a week.
